Hi! My name is Alita Crosby and I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I received my Master's from Whitworth University and have been providing therapy since 2021. Like many in this field, my personal experiences led my charge to supporting others find healthier ways to navigate life's challenges. I specialize in making improvements in personal and professional relationships, understanding and finding coping strategies for anxiety or traumatic experiences, and working through spiritual deconstruction & reconstruction.
No person or family is the same, so why should your counseling regiment be? You'll get personalized goals and treatment planning that you are an active partner in creating. As we move forward, I check in regularly on how you feel it's going and what needs to be adjusted to meet your expectations and therapeutic needs.
My job is to work myself out of a job. I focus on passing on to you skills and strategies that help improve your vantage point and make desired changes. We'll take a deep dive into how you see yourself and the world and how those beliefs impacts your relationships and overall well-being.
People don't exist in a bubble. There is so much outside of ourselves that contributes to who we are, how we navigate life and relationships, and what we aspire to. MFT's are different than other Mental Health Professionals because we focus on the social systems a person comes from such as family, friendships, church culture, work environment, etc. We strive to help you understand how these systems influence you and walk along side as you explore and make strides towards desired changes in mindset and ways of being.
